I had been on a holiday to Himachal Pradesh.It was really a bliss! Fresh cool breeze and quiet surroundings. Every thing the trees, hills ,flowers and whole atmosphere seem to whisper.....
Waheguru Waheguru Waheguru
Came back with lovely memories in heart and tons of shots on camera.I'll share over time with you all.Right now I need to organize things

Yesterday I heard wonderful kirtan from Harimander sahib.I don't know the name of Ragies but they were stundents of Prof. Kartar Singh Ji. Listen to this shabad

prabh milabae ko preeth man laagee
The loving desire to meet my Beloved has arisen within my mind.

I touch His Feet, and offer my prayer to Him. If only I had the great good fortune to meet the Saint. 1Pause

I am a worm - how can I praise You, O Lord;
Your glorious greatness is so great!

ਤੂ ਅਗਮ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਅਗੰਮੁ ਹੈ ਆਪਿ ਲੈਹਿ ਮਿਲਾਈ ॥

You are inaccessible, merciful and unapproachable;
You Yourself unite us with Yourself.

Gurudwara Moti Bagh
This gurdwara is associated with the Tenth Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Guruji came to Delhi on the request of Prince Muazzam, who had requested for help in the battle for the throne of Delhi. Guru Sahib camped at the site of this Gurdwara. On his arrival, Guru Sahib shot an arrow into the Red Fort, informing the Prince of his arrival. He was such a fine archer that when he shot two arrows from a colony of cobblers in Moti Bagh they hit the 'Divan' of the Prince Muazzam (King Bahadurshah). The Guru shot first arrow to announce his arrival in Delhi .
Bahadur Shah exclaimed,"kya karamat hai!". There came another arrow with the message, "Yeh karamat nahin, teerandaazi hai."
The Sikhs of Delhi have constructed a new Gurdwara building. But old building from where the tenth Guru shot two arrows to Red Fort is still intact. The Gurdwara Moti Bagh is situated on the Ring Road between Dhaula Kuan and Shanti Path.

The deohri from where Guru Gobind Singh shot the arrows has been preserved and Guru Granth Sahib has been installed there as a mark of respect to the superb archery of the Guru. Even now from the top of the deohri (gate) one can see the skyline of Delhi and the Red Fort. Shasters on Display
